Coni Flores
THE WANDERER PHOTOGRAPHER
I am Coni, a Chilean photographer currently living in Tauranga. Visiting Myanmar changed my worldview. Being able to see beyond my life gave me access to witness so much beauty everywhere, in everyone, in the ordinary, in the simplest things, in the chaos.
I started my photography journey in 2008. My husband and I left home in 2013 eager to know more about the world. We have lived in Australia and New Zealand since then and we have travelled a lot carrying out different photography projects.
Our favourite photography project is Paper and Ink. We travel to remote places where people have limited access to technology and we bring our cameras and a portable printer. We take photos of the children and families, print them out and gift them to the villagers.
